Our Imperial Green Tea delivers a superb delicate and smooth flavor perfect for special occasions and is a tea drinkers delight! It is a Darjeeling tea from our select estate in India’s West Bengal region, and grown at elevations of 7,000-8,000 feet above sea level in the Himalaya mountains. It is only from this region that Darjeeling teas are produced and are known as the ‘Champagne of Teas’. Suggested pairings: soft cheeses, fish, fruits, pastries.
Ingredients: First Flush Green Darjeeling tea leaves. Withered to dry, rolled then steamed to prevent oxidation, not a fermented tea. Unblended.

Amount of tea: 1.5 teaspoons
Steep: 8 ounces water at 180°-190°F for 3-4 minutes
