Hydrate with Tea

Staying hydrated is essential for good health, as water is found in every single cell and all throughout our bodies. Since daily hydration is necessary, we may as well get the most out of it. We can do that by adding tea to our daily intake of fluids.

Why Hydrate with tea?  Because you get two benefits: 1) hydration from water and 2) flavonoids from tea. Flavonoids are a kind of antioxidant polyphenol that is naturally and abundantly found in tea. These flavonoids detoxify cell-damaging free radicals. Many studies have shown that two or more cups of tea daily provide protection.

Our bodies are about 60% water of which is utilized throughout the day, thus explains the need to maintain that. There are numerous reasons we need to stay hydrated and among them are to maintain daily energy levels, to possibly prevent or treat headaches, to support weight loss, and help get through physical activities.

All tea comes for the camellia sinensis plant. The varieties of tea are virtually endless and the most commonly consumed are strong tasting black teas, fresh green teas, and naturally caffeine free herbal tisanes, such as chamomile. Herbal tisanes are not from the camellia sinensis plant but come from herbs, flowers and spices. These naturally caffeine free tisanes (commonly referred to as teas) will also give you daily hydration along with unique and pleasing flavors.

Consuming tea or adding new and exciting ingredients, such as spices and flowers, into your daily fluid intake is a delicious and healthy habit. Not only do teas deliver flavonoids and positive elements to the body, but teas keep you hydrated too.

If you don’t already, do consider having tea as part of your day-to-day lifestyle in staying well-hydrated.  Shop now:https://theteacellar.com
